Queer History and Archives Workshop with Han Tiernan

  • Common Knowledge Centre V95DK38 Ireland (map)

Faoin Tuath is a non-profit festival for queer people to connect beyond the city, featuring practical skill-sharing workshops, talks, live music performances, DJs, traditional music sessions, film screenings, shared meals, and much more.

We created Faoin Tuath because we didn't feel something like this exists in Ireland - a festival where queer people can come together to learn practical skills and spend time in nature but also get to socialise in a different type of environment with others, and be inspired and uplifted by queer performance and stories.

As part of this year’s festival, Han Tiernan will provide a whistle-stop tour of the last 50 years of Irish LGBTQ+ activism, uncovering some of the lesser-known activism, including lesbian, trans, bi and HIV/AIDS histories.
