Bronze Sculpture

Using the heart as a canvas, different facets of my own personality have been carved and sculpted onto it; from femininity, emotions, atheism and relationship with the natural world.

Mixed media sculpture/interactive installation - incorporating sound and light.

This piece resulted from an a series of explorations into the theme of "In a Heart Beat".
It studies my relationship with my stillborn sister Mollie, who died when I was 3 years old.   Told from a child's perspective, it also challenges the relationship I have with my siblings who came after her.

The piece contains an audio track which can be heard by lifting and listening through the Pinard stethoscope.
